How we buy in the VRAEM: daily price and cash payment

Every morning we publish the maximum purchase price for parchment coffee and cocoa at our collection points in the VRAEM. That price is derived from the day's international quote (arabica coffee on ICE, cocoa on NY/London) and the USD/PEN exchange rate, net of yield and costs.

Why it is recalculated daily

In volatile weeks, using yesterday's quote can mean buying above export parity. Recalculating every morning protects the margin and gives the producer a clear, verifiable reference.

Cash payment

We settle at the collection point against certified net weight, with a receipt. No surprise deductions, no payment terms.
